Eskrima-Wing Chun-Karate. Italy Seminars. Sept 2018 |

On Summer 2018, I went to Italy to teach in nine different seminars, Karate, Wing Chun and Eskrima, in eight different cities. The news of this year was that for the first time I was also required to teach Balintawak Eskrima, and it was a beautiful and challenging first time. In addition, I attended a demonstration of karate in Riva Ligure on Aug 25th, invited by Maestro Dario Regina, where I showed the use of traditional Okinawan tools and conditioning. Also, on Sept 26th, I visited for the first time the Zen Temple of Fudenji in Salsomaggiore Terme, where I met the Zen Master, as well as founder of the temple, Fausto Taiten Guareschi.
But let's start with order: Sept 25th, Okinawa Karate in Colli Euganei (PD) at the Okinawan Dojo of Moreno Ruzzante Sensei, where I go every time I visit Italy; on Sept 27th, Wing Chun in Sanremo (IM) at the CWK of Sifu Maurizio Zuppa; on Monday 1st Oct Goshinjutsu (self-defense) at the ASD Fudoshin Liguria of Dario Regina Sensei, with surprise visit of my first Karate Master, Mario Salomone Sensei; Tuesday 2 October, training with the Usam karate of Giovanni Brugna Sensei at Arquata Scrivia (AL), where I taught Okinawa Kumite techniques; Oct 3h and Oct 8th the first time of Balintawak Eskrima, in Finale Ligure (SV) at the Shomon Dojo directed by Marco Rescigno Sensei; Thursday 4 Oct, second meeting of Okinawa Karate with ASD karate Taggia (IM) of Valentina Sabia Sensei; Friday 5th Oct, Okinawa Uechi-ryu Karate in Lenno (CO) at the Hakuryu Team Dojo of Pompeo Gerardo Ungaro Sensei; on the week-end 6th-7th Oct at ASD Karate-Do Seregno (MB) of Paolo Ornaghi Sensei, two intense days of kumite techniques with contact, and body conditioning.
