From February 26th to March 5th 2019 I went again to Cebu in the Philippines, to the headquarters of the World Nickelstick Eskrima, to define my position with GM Nick Elizar. A week of precious training, and on Mach 4th I received the 2nd level qualification (note that Guro's levels are three: last year I received the first one) and great satisfaction , Chief Instructor in Italy. A charge of great responsibility that I will try to honor in the best way to spread the Balintawak Nickelstick throughout the Italian peninsula by creating qualified Instructors who in turn open affiliated schools.
As always in Cebu, trainings full of cues, tips, and new combinations, directed by the Grand Master Nick, by his son Norman Elizar, and more this time the pleasure and honor of having also received two training sessions by the Grand Master Bobby Taboada, on vacation for some month in the native country. Three high-level experts, with whom it doesn't happen every day to find them together, and to benefit from their sublime training. Thank you very much (salamad) to all three, but the greatest thanks to my Grand Master Nick Elizar, for the trust placed in me.
